This Broadway hit stars the incomparable and always hysterical Tom Luna as Tobi Powell, an eccentric and endearing dancer, choreographer and teacher. A married couple, played by Brandon Beach and Amber McDonald Good, arrives at his apartment to interview him about his life, but it is soon evident that their agenda is as multi-layered as Tobi’s life story.

  • “Uproariously funny, deeply moving, enthralling theatre. Belber’s Match has great beauty and tenderness and abounds in wit.” – The New York Daily News
  • Match is directed by Joy Hawkins.

From the fun “I Like My Women Just a Little on the Trashy Side” and “Ode to Bum Farto” to the haunting “Cajun Moon” and “The Heart of the Night,” these songs played by the Made in Key West Band (Paul Cotton, George Halloran, Tom Murtha, Gary McDonald and John Wells) weave a colorful tapestry of music celebrating our island and very American musical heritage. There are some surprises thrown in as well, including an audience favorite – the poem “Paradise Almost Lost” from Biff Rose’s album “The Thorn in Mrs. Rose’s Side.”

The comic answer to A.R. Gurney’s LOVE LETTERS. In this modern-day fable, love “bytes” all when an extra-marital affair goes horribly wrong, thanks to a juicy email left sitting on a desktop.

  • The story is told entirely in  emails  from laptop computers and smart phones, although their still manages to be an unforgettable chase scene – thanks to Blackberries and iPhones.
  • The heartiest laugh-for-laugh show of all the Van Zandt-Milmore comedies.

Reviews:

  • “…outright guffaws greeted this 75-minute free-for-all…” Neward Star Ledger
  • “… very funny play where the verbal zingers fly fast and furious…” Asbury Park Press
